Family owned. Havasu proud.
The Story Behind the Cart
The story of a vision, a pool, and the best Vienna Beef in the desert.
Our story
It started with a vision and ended up in the pool
Heeney's Weenies started as a vision someone wasn't quite onboard with. I sat on the idea for a year — then, floating in our pool with family, I laid out the whole plan. The rest, as they say, is history.
AJ was born and raised right here in beautiful Lake Havasu City, and his mom was born and raised outside of Chicago — so if you can't tell by the cart, she's doing the happy dance. AJ likes golf, fishing, and family.
Lyndsi was born in California and moved to Havasu in the late 90s. She enjoys fishing, family, and decompressing from the chaos of everyday life. Together with our two girls — 20 and 16, the lights of our lives — we run this thing as a family.
We bring you Vienna Beef hot dogs and Polish sausages, the best around, on Rosen's poppy seed buns. It all comes straight from Chicago — only the best. Come give us a try. It's service with a smile.
Why we're the real deal
No shortcuts. Just Chicago.
Vienna Beef, straight from Chicago
Our hot dogs and Polish sausages come straight from the source — the same beef Chicago has trusted for over a century. Only the best.
Rosen's poppy seed buns
The real-deal poppy seed bun, shipped in from Rosen's in Chicago. If you know, you know.
Dragged through the garden
Yellow mustard, bright green relish, onion, tomato, pickle, sport peppers, celery salt. The full walk — never skimped, never substituted.
Service with a smile
It's a family-run cart, not a franchise. You get a hello, a story, and a dog made right.
Meet the family
The faces behind the cart
AJ Heeney
Co-founder, grill man, the guy with the plan
Born and raised in Lake Havasu City, with Chicago running through the family line. When he's not running the cart, he's golfing, fishing, or hanging with the family.
Lyndsi Heeney
Co-founder, the heart of the operation
Born in California, Havasu since the late 90s. Keeps the cart humming and the chaos of everyday life at a comfortable distance — usually from a fishing spot.
The Girls
The lights of our lives
20 and 16, and the reason we do all of this. You'll see them around — extra smiles come standard.
